Down and out wall mount for TV over the mantle

If anyone is looking for a solution for mounting their TV over the fireplace mantle, we came across this awesome mount by Dynamic Mounting called the Down and Out Mount.
It is very sturdy and able to tilt and move down. The kids love it, we are able to pull it down to their level when needed and return the TV to the flat position when not in use. It has given us a whole new viewing experience. Highly recommended. There is a $100 rebate for posting your experience with the mount on forums/social media which we plan on making use of. Great product.

The only disadvantage is that it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing when lowered from the wall plate. My advice, paint the back support plate to match the wall colour. Good product. Cable placement would be an issue for others as well. You may end up seeing the power cable, cable outlet. etc.
