Stopped at VV for their 50% off books sale. My two sons, 3 and 6 were with me, so we went to look at toys once we'd found some books. Found three really nice medium-size Transformers from the earlier movies for $4.99 each (These are normally hard to find and expensive, as adult collectors drive up the price, and they're no longer carried in stores because the characters were killed off in earlier movies. The boys are Transformers-obsessed and have been wanting these characters) Then, we found a huge bag full of wooden train items for $14.99 -- it must have contained most of the tracks, bridges, buildings, crossings, etc. from a large train table (6-year-old DS LOVES bridges for his trains. On top of that, the bag also contained about 25 trains and rail cars, most of which were expensive Thomas ones, some of them rare. I figure that the bag of train items would have cost at least $300 new in stores. It'll mean hours of fun for our two boys.
Just had to share my great deals! This thread is currently associated with: Value Village

That's absolutely wonderful! When my son was young, we were very lucky to find many great toy deals there as well.
