Chili day today!
Picked up a nice sirloin tip roast last week at Food basics on sale.
I will cube that up, along with some ground pork, going to be very meaty .

Multiple peppers and three kinds of beans, stick to your ribs good!

Chili day today!

Tomorrow I am going to roast a Hutterite chicken with onion and carrot. I will also roast a sweet potato. 1/2 will be plain so that I can turn it into baby food for the twins. The other 1/2 I will cube up and toss with a little oil, cinnamon, and brown sugar. I will also bake a 9"x13" pan of healthier monster cookie squares. We might have a little leftover pasta or potato wedges with it.

She made me proud when she ate ALL her meat first, and wanted to know what part of the cow it was from.

Hubby and I walked to the Keg tonight for dinner... I should have taken a picture, but I didn't.... they have the best prime rib!!

Making some Turkey chili today.
Winging it basically.

Starting with two thighs, boiled for an hour.
I used two tall boys of:

With 2 cups of chicken broth and 4 cups of water.

After an hour I will take the Turkey out and boil the broth down by half.

Mild Italian sausage, Leeks, and jalapeno peppers will make up the base.
Chunk up the turkey and add a can of tomatoes, and two cans of white kidney beans should round it out.

Let you know in a few hours how it comes out.

I went to pick up a couple more of the Flattened Chickens for the freezer this morning.

I should never go to the butcher shop hungry!
Then again, we are going to have some great dinners this week.

Here is the start of my prep for the sides, I did a small pulled pork for tonight's dinner.
and I also grilled a couple of fat chops for my lunches.
