Got my target fix USA

Dh (who hates shopping) decides he wants to go to port Huron today for gas and lunch. So off we go...first stop was target, didn't buy to much but got Easter chocolate and candy 50% off. Had a coupon for m+m's buy 2 bigger bags save $1 so $2 for 2 big bags, Lindt bunnies for $1.99. Jelly beans $1.19 a bag, also bought 8 boxes of Annie's organic pasta. On sale for $1.57 and buy 3 get one free so a good deal as it is about $3 a box here. Schick razors 3 pack $7.49 for a 3 pack, had $5 off wub 2 coupon and there was a $5 gift card promo. So $2.50 a pack. Gum $.50 a pack with coupon. Dr bonners peppermint soap was on clearance 50%off so $2.34 a bar got 2. Burt's bees lip balm was $1.19 on clearance. And a couple of flamingo towel clips for next cruise. Reg price of $5.99. One spot Easter stuff was on 30% off compared to 70%off for reg Easter stuff so didn't buy. Had a nice panera bread lunch, went to a couple more stores and got a $50 sweater and a $20 scarf for $6.33 including tax. Happy with my shop and nice to visit Target...though still think I got better deals at target canada. Big sigh!

I didn't...dh sprung the trip on me so no time to prepare...I haven't really looked into cartwheel yet. Will look into it and be ready for next trip! Thanks for the reminder.

We went with friends to Target USA once. They found something they wanted to buy. They checked online and found a Target Cartwheel offer and loaded to their phone while in the store. It took about 30 minutes. Cashier just scanned the cartweel bar code on their phone.

Grew up in Sarnia...and really miss those stateside trips..lol when I was a teen you were allowed to walk over, but it's a long walk. Sounds like a great shop!!

as a teen used to take the ferry to Port Huron. I agree re: target as when I checked the Target.com website, I often got things cheaper here in Canada which was so messed up as people still weren't buying. Sounds like you had a fun day.

Agreed. I could never have too many Target posts, oh how i miss it so. I may make a run on Friday. I need sheets for my new comforter set.
