Use to keep magazines that have posted last editions but the paper does not hold up so got rid of those
Yes, I keep newspaper articles if I am mentioned or photographed, but then found a way to put these in my LinkedIn account.
I keep an electronic version of the article in my e-mail in case the link becomes inaccessible online.

Other things I keep electronically include any YouTube videos I'm in or any online webinars I have participated in or any conferences where I co-presented, in LinkedIn too.

It's great what you can store electronically.

BTW, I am still uncomfortable about storing things in the cloud, because if I ever get famous , I wonder if the information in the cloud is mine or the property of the cloud company

I keep the old magazines and take them to an old old age home near me once in awhile. The people there love them.

I have slashed my magazine subscriptions BIG time. ( although I do have my fav's but they are just not worth the $$ ) Now I just try to get the free ones offered. My last RedBook will be arriving soon, I will not renew. I read most cover to cover but the ads get to me!! So many ads!! The last newspaper subscription I had was with The Telegram ( lol!! ) no actually I found I just never read all the sections in time so the few free/trial newspapers that were delivered I cancelled before they started charging.
DH reads his free Hockey news, or CPU that would be about it, his passion is more from books. I am the strict recycler of any and all these subscriptions....just cannot save them, it will take over the whole house. Well, except for all my recipe ones!! Those are under lock and key....ha ha

I keep a lot of the magazines for at least a couple of weeks. The newspapers, no way, as soon as I check the crossword answers in the morning, the old one is tossed.

Newspapers to into the recycle bin. All magazines we bring to the local Royal Canadian Legion for the members to take home and read. Same goes with books. There is a big bookcase and anyone is welcome to take books to read.

I don't read newspapers. Never have. Anything I want is online. So when the free papers come I flip through the flyers and then straight to the recycling.

I read very few magazines, I prefer books. I have a subscription to Entertainment Weekly and Today's Parent. As soon as I've read them then go to recycling also.

I think it's mostly somebody came and had a visit with them, most are pretty lonely. It's nice to cheer them up if only for a few minutes.

Don't get any newspaper sub, I read our local online.

I was getting a free sub of Hello Canada - it's a weekly, and I think I read only three or four, there's a pile of probably a dozen that I haven't even looked at. Just not my type of mag.

I'll be getting Macleans weekly - thanks to the Shopping Channel freebie - and that I really look forward to; I know I'll read it every week.

I've pretty much gone digital. I read the news online and I buy maybe 2-3 magazines per year. They usually don't stay for long before they end up in the recycle pile. I have found that pinterest is a much better substitution for magazines with tons of ads.
