I have off-white lino flooring in my kitchen, hallway, and bathroom. I'm considering getting one to keep it looking cleaner. Have you used one and what did you think of it?

I have a steam mop and I love it. We have a light colored lino in our kitchen, ceramic tiles in the bathrooms and hardwood throughout the rest of the house. While I am iffy on the tiles it is great everywhere else.

I like them, just make sure that you get one from somewhere with a good return policy so if it doesn't produce a decent amount of steam you can take it back.

Also NEVER EVER EVER leave them sitting on the floor in one place even for a minute. It can warp your floors just like an iron left to sit more than a few seconds can scorch your clothes. Bring a plate or bucket with you to set it on while you go run to grab more water or whatever, just don't leave it sitting on the floor until it's cool.

My mother has or rather HAD a Shark steam mop thingy and she used it 5 times and it crapped out on her. I never used one myself. I like the old fashioned cleaning. Gives me a good work out :D
