I've had my Cuisinart ice cream maker for a couple of years now and I'm having lots of fun with it.
My bf's vegan, so making new recipes that are dairy/egg free are a challenge I like taking on!
Plus, it makes me feel like it might be a little more guilt free than it's cream counter part.
Do you make your own ice cream/nice cream?
If you so, share your photos and or recipes here!
What are your favourite flavours of store bought or homemade?
I'm always looking for new, unique flavours to try.
My recipes are in progress, so I don't have measurements. Soon though!
I plan on doing lots of experiments this year.
A not so secret ingredient I like adding, is a couple tablespoons of booze.
(I don't drink alcohol, but I'll use it lightly in recipes!)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (dairy/egg free)
Chocolate Chocolate Chip (vegan)
Toasted Coconut with Chocolate Chunks (vegan)

I need that chocolate chip cookie dough recipe. It looks delicious! I'm lactose intolerant and really miss eating ice cream. I usually just make a banana, peanut butter and chocolate chip one. Not the same but usually does the trick.

Gah! The Kitchenaid ice-cream maker was on sale on the shopping channel last week and I hesitated.....I wish I had ordered one! They had it on sale, then a $25 coupon, also! I'm kicking myself....ouch!!
I just checked...none left...maybe I'll borrow DD's Vitamix! Although, I don't how to make it work. Yet. She does owe me a cocktail!Last edited by Lynn49; Sat, May 2nd, 2015 at 10:48 PM.
