Very helpful thread! Good to see it's been made a sticky!
Here are two items that qualify for both categories:
Hunt's 12-pack pudding Snack Packs
Christie cookie Snak Paks (6 individual bags)
SDM often has the 12-pack pudding cups on sale for $2.99 which is pretty much the lowest price around. So, if you can earn extra points for purchasing them, it's an ideal time to get them!

I can vouch that in the past condiments such as Mayo, PB and Jam, salad dressings, sugar ect... all count towards food and snacks. Haven't gotten one of the coupons since they went digital, but I would think they would all still be included.
Keep Smiling!

Loaded coupon for 8000 points for spend $30 on food or snacks. Noticed that there was no coupon code on my receipt and was afraid I might not qualify for the 8000 points so I called customer service and was told I did not meet the threshold because I bought milk and orange juice. Was told that milk and juice do not qualify for food because they are beverages. Beverages do not count as food. Said that I never had a problem using milk and juice before with the printed coupons but was given the 8000 points as a gesture of good will. Rep reminded me that in the future, not to use milk, juice or beverages as they do not count as food.

I never had a problem with milk before either. I could not believe it. I told the CSR that I always buy milk and never had a problem counting it as food before. Have they changed the rules? Has anyone else experienced the same problem? I just did the shopping today.

I used 1000 wus $5 on candy/snacks, points awarded in 5 days. Bought 1 jar of dried nuts for $5.49.
I see coupon code 18995 on my receipt.
I do NOT see the '1' in the points section.
Question - if the '1' is not on receipt, does that mean jar of dried nuts does not qualify for candy/snacks?Last edited by WINNIPEGZELDA; Tue, May 12th, 2015 at 11:12 PM.

I had 4 points coupons
3 were department special coupons and 1 was transaction bonus points coupon.
2400 points on Canada Dry,1200 points on cream milk
3000 points WUS $10 on food and snack( points awarded within 5 business days)
12000 points(WUS $50 on any thing in store( points awarded in 5 days)
So my receipt shows 560 base points
2400+1200+1=3601 department bonus points
1 shows transaction bonus points

Thank momi. No department bonus points.
260 reg points
750 in store bp (lb bandaids VIB)
1010 total points
purchased 9 items. 8 are bandaid/shampoo type of items.
I assumed #18995 is for snack 5 day delay bonus points , but without the '1' on receipt, does that mean dried nuts do not qualify for snacks/candy?
