thank you for this thread i did my first shop for bonus point. Got the offer 3000 points wus $10 on Food and Snack. 3000 points on Ferrero Rocher 300g. So I bought:
1 Ferrero Rocher 300g $9.99
2 Chip Ahoy at $1.88/each

All this thread has done is confuse me. It is inconsistent with what is and isn't allowed as a food or snack. I had hoped they would consider pop as a snack in every instance but I guess not. I guess it is a part of a healthy diet and everyone should have it all the time. Seriously SDM ... C'MON MAN!

I don't know but why don't you find a kind cashier who is not too busy and explain you want to see if it will work. Give her your card with the offer loaded and ask her to check that the offer shows up on screen -you'll want to be watching also it will be easiest if it's the only wub offer on your card. If the items don't qualify, the offer will either not show or will flash on the screen, then disappear.

If it doesn't work, ask the cashier to annul the transaction (not sure if this still happens but one of the first times I tried to do this promo and a cashier cancelled instead of annulled because something didn't qualify, it caused the promo to be no longer valid).

But with all the glitches on this offer, there's always the chance it didn't work because of a gitch. So you could always call Optimum and ask in advance. If they say yes, they will work, ask the rep to put a note on your file in case there's a problem, and make a note of the rep's name and the time of the call

Did you have the "snacks and candy" offer or "food and snacks" offer?

The chips would qualify as a "snack", but not the rest. The rest would be "food". If you look at the beginning of this thread, the items that qualify as "snacks and candy" are the ones in the green list.
