Shady Spaces Hosta Garden bought on Costco.ca - awesome!

The Shady Spaces Hosta Garden comes with 15 hosta plants. There are 7 varieties. They come as bare root plants but all of the ones we received had a nice healthy shoot already growing.

They sell on costco.ca for $36.99 but we bought them on sale on costco.ca for $27.99 or $1.87 per plant.
I had it delivered to my work since home deliveries they always miss us for one reason or another.

You don't have to be a member to shop on Costco.ca. Just leave the membership number section blank when ordering. Just fill in the parts where there is an "*" (the mandatory sections). Delivery was in 7-10 days after ordering, depending on where you live in the country.

We potted each in it's own pot rather than in the soil. This gives them a good start. Within days, the shoots were increasing in size.

We will split these hostas each year, getting more plants. To prevent any hosta viruses, we will make sure to clean the spade/shovel between uses with a dilute solution of bleach and water and dry thoroughly.
