There's a bread machine recipe I really like and always turns out well. So much so that people ask me to make it for them and call it by my name lol.
It's Cheddar sour cream bread... http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/6195994-post32.html

Cinnamon Buns & Foccacia Bread are my two favorites. Either recipe usually takes me most of the day to make because I don't have a bread machine, but they are well worth the time.

My most asked for recipe / requested dish is my home made Apple Pie.
I only make it at Thanksgiving with freshly picked Apples. I usually make 3-4 and they are gone within the few day (sometimes there's a few slices for the next day). People try to convince me to make one at other times of the year but I wont do it. It's a Thanksgiving treat only.

Best savoury dish is cabbage rolls.
Best sweet recipe is cheesecake squares.
Gee, I think it's time for a Smart Canucks potluck!

Spanish Rice
(I hope the title is politically correct)
- extra lean ground beef or chicken or turkey or ground soy
- onion
- garlic
- green and red peppers diced
- canned no salt diced tomatoes with the juice
- light soy sauce
- black pepper
- chili powder or cayene powder or paprika
- Tabasco sauce
- Uncle Ben's rice or brown rice
- water
cooks in one pot with the ground beef browned and fat removed first
make as spicy or as mild as you want
great for lunch next day
freezes well

My hubby: his Caesar salad is always on family dinner lists!
My loaded lasagna never fails to impress. And at family dinners, my dressing is a must...

The only thing I can make that I would ever share with anyone else is cookies. I refuse to bring anything else to potlucks. Even if I'm asked for a main dish, they get cookies.
