I bought a box of nutri Grain bars and Quaker dips on sale at Costco..didn't notice the size until I got home..I thought I bought a box of mini's!! I don't remember the original size but the Nutri grain bar is 37g and the dips are 31g..it's still in the same packaging but the product is only half the size in the wrapper

Yes, it's safe to assume that everything is smaller than it used to be.

i've noticed that too even non-food items; for example, fleecy had the 4.4 L that walmart cleared out not too long ago and the new bottle has a new design and only 4L

how come most everything is going down in size but me??!! wahhhh!!! SavvyLady, I hate finding out about the reduced size when you open the box to take out the item, it is like you've been duped!

thats exactly how I felt, I read the whole box after I opened it, and no where does it indicate smaller size, mini bars etc..the only good thing was they were on sale! I never buy these things at Costco because we get great dealss when they're on sale and with coupons..oh well live and learn!!

I know its so disappointing everything is shrinking, except my grocery budget! Those granola bars are getting so tiny, you need two as a snack now!
I also noticed the other day as well that U By Kotex also changed their boxes to be 34ct instead of 36ct. It doesn't 'seem' like much of a decrease but that makes up an extra box for every 17 they sell, compared to the previous size.

Is the box size the same/similar weight? That's what I go by when I shop.

Toilet paper is a prime example, Years ago a single roll was over 300 sheets per roll now a double is around 280 sheets. They put a lot of air into it to make it look big.
