Sobeys has a baby program where you get:
    -Free prenatal vitamins
    -Free welcome kit
    -Free Pharmacist consultation
    -Baby savings
-Ongoing support for you and your baby
    -E-Newsletter

    sign up at www.sobeyspharmacy.com

It seems that you need to go to a Sobeys pharmacy to sign up for now, I couldn't find the link on the website (it may not be up yet).

    Update

You need to go to Sobeys to sign up. You will receive free vitamins for 2 years and have to go monthly to pick them up (works like a prescription). Great deal! Prenatal vitamins can be so costly but neccessary!

    Thanks Orual for the info!

You do need to go to the pharmacy to sign up and pick up. They do not mail out. The vitamins work like a prescription and you have to pick them up monthly. You can get them for two years.

I was pleased with what was in the bag, and they are good vitamins.

I believe Thrifty Foods is the same as Sobeys, so you could try there?

yes it is, but you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist to discuss your individual needs and make sure the vitamins you take are right for you.

I guess that is why Sobeys is doing an in person sign up instead of online.

Prenatal vitamins are recommended for at least 3 months before you start trying to have a baby. You can take them all the way through pregnancy and also during breastfeeding while that baby leeches your vitamins. ha ha ha. sounds bad but it's true. Nice deal! will pass on to friends. thanks for posting.

If you get nauseated with the vitamins, just take folic acid.
