Printer and problem with window 7

My printer(Canon,pixma i300) dont work even with my new computer too...Windows 7 dont support it....So even if I purchase another one(maxi 45$) it will be the same thing.........any suggestion???

I am no techie, so hopefully someone else will answer and help. My son fixes any computer issues we have.

However, I'm just wondering - maybe you have to download a new driver for the printer? Google might be able to help you at least get info there.

ya I agree probably needs a new driver. however most new printers are as cheap as the price of the ink, so maybe just buy a new printer

I called HP (make of my printer) and they helped me to the page to update my driver so it would work again. Maybe try the website of the make of your printer or call them. As far as will you be able to print smartsource coupons and such? I cannot on Google Chrome and have to go to the old Internet Explorer to do it.

Thank you for all of yours advices.I will purchase another one at Maxi et Cie sale ,a canon but a 3 in 1,scanner,pictures and printing for45$...steal of a deal..50% off(check your flyer)...but will try to do something with the other one as a spare one for others computers.She as 10 years old so this is not a big deal,but I got annoyed because she worked fine at my other appt.For the ink,I purchase it at a recyclage center,that is cheap.
