Does anyone know if the building is sold or changing ownership? I'm going to miss this shop with good windows on my downtown visits. It's hard to find larger or specialty sized footwear in the malls. Sniffle...

I'll probably visit the store after Tuesday with Mom to see what footwear must come home with her.

Saw the article about the store closing in the Toronto Star yesterday:

Wednesday-there was a lineup outside the store (we waited about an hour to get inside) and then you still had to get a card number to wait your turn (told it was a 2h wait). Regulars mentioned that the Saturday last weekend was steady but not packed. Guess it was a good thing we did not try to visit on Tuesday. No luck on sandals but Mom's thrilled with her past buys at the shop.

Ad in today's Toronto Star indicates 60% off summer fashions and 40% off fall fashions. (YMMV in terms of sizes/widths by this point.)
