Today I picked up a rhubarb plant that someone on a facebook page gave me, I posted back in April that I was looking or some rhubarb plants and today I picked up the 1st one. I have another lady that is supposed to get back to me this week or next as she is travelling on business so this way I will have a few rhubarb plants of my own.

This past winter I used up 53 cups of rhubarb which was all given to me for free.

Decided to take advantage of the cooler temp today and made soup with the chicken bones from the whole chicken I cooked last night and also toss in another carcass from the freezer, some carrots, pasta and picked through the bones for meat and voila enough soup for 8 meals (1 size portions)

It's time to declutter again as most of our master bedroom renos are done, going to post a few more items for sale over the weekend. I sold 3 items in the last week.

I bought him a garden shovel from Dollarama and surprise, it broke. The handle weld loosened from the spade. Well apparently it was the perfect tool and made of good hard steel so he took it to a friend and got it re-welded. It's now gone from a $3 tool to a $13 tool lol. Anyway he's really happy and he is going to love this thing forever. Live long, Dollarama spade.

Not exactly a "small " thing but had a garage sale - moved out some things we don't need and made some money for our trip next week.
    Happy!
