Yay for bread.
In the US, dollar stores sell bread, eggs and milk
The delivery truck goes to the grocery stores. Overstock from the grocery stores goes to the dollar stores. The bread usually goes fast. In the US, some bloggers have made friends with Dollar Tree staff, find out when the bread truck is expected, and are first in line to get their bread for $1.
BTW, using your points offers when bread is on sale at grocery stores may result in FREE bread.
BTW, some US dollar stores take coupons for bread. Sometimes the staff give you grief, but some stores are coupon friendly.

Getting jealous of seeing people in the us doing dollar tree videos. Like frozen steaks, etc. 18 pack eggs for $1.00 or things like that.
one video they did a whole breakfast for 4 or 5 using dollar tree items for under $10.00.. Eggs, sausages, ham or bacon, frozen waffles, syrup and coffee. I might be forgeting something lol.

Wow! I wonder if the differences can be attributed to the added costs we face for frieght.
The price of gas in the US is quite a bit lower than what we pay and since most food is delivered via trucks, were paying more for the freight and with this new carbon tax were getting killed with delivery charges for food. Companies have to recoup their money somehow so the US gets eggs and bacon and we get nothing fun

For those who are into crafting, I saw clear stamps, scoring tool set (2 different bone folders), and piercing and scoring too set (2 double ended).
