Have to say that we currently have no neighbour issues .... but it helps that we are now rural rather than inner city.... inner city days we had neighbours that used to have loud sports parties that went until 2-3 am (he was a rep for a brewery co ---) they were very loud and used to have all the doors/windows open so the noise carried.... back then our DS was small and bedtime was 8-9 pm so noise from 10pm -2am was a PITA.... The neighbours on the other side of us were the best neighbours you could ever ask for -- an avid gardener with lots of excess veg/flowers/ starter plants -- absolutely adored her!

No problems now .... my DH will do almost anything to keep relations good with neighbours ... but changes are afoot as a new house is going to be built on the property beside us .... building hasn't started yet. Our neighbour on the other side is 90 - and amazing at that .... she holds two annual parties a year - one at christmas and the other in July (a square dancing party)

No longer any noise or parking issues -- for my DH's sanity

We have a great neighbour on one side and the neighbour from hell on the other. When we used to have a garden they would help themselves to whatever they wanted...tomatoes, corn etc and actually had the balls to tell us what they did.

Unbelievable! Trespassing *and* theft. Charming.

After reading some of these.. Have NO neighbors.. One is a mile down the road, the other about 1/2 mile.. It is GREAT!!!!

Living the dream!
Hoping to have a lot of land in the future, and to have our hope plopped smack in the middle, so we don't have to see our neighbours, unless they come to visit or we get into the car and go see them!

No neighbour issues at all, everyone keeps to themselves unless we see each other in driveways, then it's pleasantries only...also "over the fence" chats...we're pretty lucky where we are. It's not the neighbourhood we raised our kids in (a quiet but very friendly cul-de-sac), and it was so strange when we first moved in: I said to my Hubby that everyone must be in witness protection, it's so quiet!!
