    So the base points and VIB didn't add? And was it just those or did you have another offer loaded?

    Coupon code #166?? showed in green on the screen.
    Screen kept timing out when evaluating offers. Cashier said optimum is down.
    I had no problem 20 minutes earlier at the beauty counter register.

    Have to mention that rep questioned 3000 + 3000 for 1 pkg of huggies. I told her this is quite understandable and I would be happy with just one applying. She said she'll give all points as they appeared on the receipt. I'm not counting on both applying next time. Might be the reason why huggies general coupon has been removed from website.

    Almost everything is for my grandsons (10 and under) and her parents. I've told my daughter that there's nothing for her when I leave this world, but her family can benefit now with all my optimum shopping. Brings me joy to help while the boys are young. Especially vitamins and pull up stuff.

    To top it off, I shopped around 9pm, drove straight to the lake, then discovered I lost my optimum card. It's now inactive. Was very worried someone would use it before I called to cancel it. I had just worked so hard to maximize my shops in the past week or so.

    I've had that happen, early this year, cashier manager signed receipt stating system error, i emailed them the receipt saying how many points were owed and received them a couple of hours later. The system had gotten messed up right before I was paying. This was before digital offers.

    One time, I had $x.xx off personalized coupon that didn't go through (before the digital system). I left the store and called the Optimum line and they wouldn't give me money back, CSR would only give me points back in lieu of the $x off. I asked her what I should do next time. I was told that I should go back and do a complete return and get the cashier to do the transaction all over again. I had already caused a long line behind me going through coupons, making sure I made threshold, paying, etc. and she told me that I should still get the cashier to do it again even if it causes extra 20 min line up behind me. CSR said it was best to go back and correct it right then and there. Also, if you catch that the coupon didn't go through, get the cashier to void the transaction and do it all over again. This was the advice I got from the CSR.

    This is something to keep in mind in case a $x.xx off coupon doesn't go through and you don't know what to do.

    Also, if it was me and I had to do a return because coupons didn't go through the first time, I would call the optimum line and make sure they knew and recorded the return in the system saying that it was the system's fault so you don't get cut off from using the Optimum program.

    @WINNIPEGZELDA did you get the cashier to do a return and do it all over again?

    Yes, I asked several times. Asked her to cancel and I would take my cart over to the beauty cashier. She kept on trying and the system kept timing out. Line getting longer..and longer...

    I really wanted to go to beauty till as I knew it 'worked'

    I knew if I called today that I would cause attention to 'something else'
