just went and had this done last week. They charge an extra $10 (per person) to get an extra person in the session (the freebie is for a single subject) and if you want to buy more than one pose they charge an extra $20 per sheet of photos for that pose.

So even though I paid about $30 rather than it being completely free, I was glad of it, I got a nice shot of myself and DD (like most mothers I'm always taking the pictures and am rarely in any, so it's important to get nice shots of me with her now and then) and a cute shot of DD by herself. I love when they do these, very affordable or completely free, so I'll be on the lookout for when it pops up again.

Similar to the Walmart, and then they try to sell you the extra poses. It's not uncommon once you are there, to have your kids or family decide you want more poses, then they get you back.

you don't have to buy extra poses, but you have the option to if you want (they take 10-15 different shots to choose from)

Their prices are actually very reasonable. As for you not being able to say no - well, that's part of being a parent - being able to make the choices as to what you would like and/or budget.

My point was hypothetical by the way.....I only have one child by the way, and I work to provide for my child, as opposed to receiving handouts from someone else, or sitting at home even when my son is of school age. I am also an avid photographer that takes lots of pics, so don't need SEARS to take pics for me.

A tip for anyone considering this -- if you don't buy extras and just take the free package when you go to pick up your pictures you will usually be offered a bunch of sheets with different poses, black n white, collage etc .. So if you want more then wait until pick up.. Walmart does this not sure about sears..
