This may be a silly question.
Do you vacuum your refrigerator coils? How often?
Our fridge is not new and it was making some noises when it cycled on. Went to YouTube and this guy was talking about saving money on electricity bills, and mentioned vacuuming the fridge coils. We sweep around the fridge and keep the fridge bit away from the wall.
The bottom of the fridge was blowing warm air this AM.
Followed the YouTuber's instructions and removed the front vent cover at the front of the fridge and vacuumed. The fridge was no longer blowing warm air and was not noisy when cycling on.
And if the YouTuber is correct, we should be saving some $$$.

I think it saves on electricity bills and possible expensive fridge repairs. Other components may work harder if air is not circulated properly, resulting in paying for a repairman or worse, replacing an expensive component, having to buy a new fridge and/or dumping spoiled food.

I do it about 4 times a year.
I didn't know I should be doing it until my fridge started making noises about 6 years a go!! Kind of embarrassed I didn't clue in sooner!!

Had a compressor fail because it overheated. Coils were blocked with dog hair. Now I clean the coils and we got rid of the fridge killing dog. I push the fridge over to the slider doors and use an air compressor with blower attachment to blast the dust outside. I find vacuuming is not as thorough.

Thank you for posting this! I wouldn't know where to start with the cleaning. Thankfully I saw a sign in my condo elevator saying someone from building staff will come and do the fridge coil cleaning soon.
Another thing to add to list of items that needs to be cleaned
