Was looking for a guitar teacher for my 8-yr-old and stumbled upon this website: www.classentry.com . If you're also looking for a music teacher, might also wanna check it out there.
Oh BTW, they have a back to school event ongoing right now which may win you a $200 credit to use on the site.

Learning to play the guitar has become easier today with all the online tutorials. Be sure to get your child watching videos and practicing constantly. After guitars (prefer Acoustics when I play), drums is my next go to.

Right, I used youtube a lot for introductory guitar lessons but real face to face communication is also important IMHO
