Happy Halloween!

realized that i need to throw together some sort of costume for me for kidlets Halloween school party.. hoping to avoid going out and dropping $$$ on buying a costume (or some cheap polyester thing that looks like crap and doesn't fit) i may have to sew something i have my crinoline but can't do the poodle skirt again this year (wore that last year)

kidlet's costume is long since taken care of (that i spend time on and make for her well over a month in advance (often in the summer so i'm not stressed in october) i just never think about something for myself... and i don't want to spend money on something for myself (i know it's sad i'll drop $$ buying the fabrics for kidlet's costume.. but me.. nope!)


i ended up figuring something out.. i spent the afternoon playing with fire hehe... i cut out a bunch of large petals and was melting organza edges so i can do a petal skirt to wear under my crinoline so i can be a flower fairy (though may have to add a layer of colour to the crinoline)
