I just have to brag about this! The kids and I went out this evening to VV and Sally Ann. At Sally Ann, we found this Lego Hogwart's Castle in its box for $14.99. http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Harry-Pot.../dp/B003H9NBTI All the minifigures are there, and the different pieces are neatly bagged by colour in Ziploc bags. It looks like the pieces may all be there -- I figured that even the loose Lego pieces were worth the price if stuff was missing, but I really think it might all be there to build the castle.
Looked online, and the set is hugely expensive: $569 US new on Amazon, and still about $300 Canadian used without a box! I guess a person could make some serious money selling on e-bay, but my boys love this set too much!

What a great find! Lego is so expensive...but so much fun. Your kids will love it. And if they ever tire of it, you can resell it.

Treasures to be found at VV. Last year, my sister bought a Trisha Romance signed limited edition print (Star of Wonder) for $40. Expensive for VV and they obviously knew what they were selling for that price. (Why didn't they auction it? They certainly would have been able to get much more than $40 for the print.) My sister immediately bought it and found on-line that the value is about $750! She won't be selling it, though. She loved displaying it over the Christmas season last year and will be passing it down to her daughter.
