    Okay, I admit it, I love household hacks, but THIS ONE solves a HUGE problem in our dressing-room (aka former 3rd bedrooom)! I hate putting them on the floor or in a drawer, particularly because they're usually hot....voila!!! You're welcome!

    PVC pipe connector!!!!!

    Then the PVC makes a nice brown ring on the sink top after. Better yet, attach the pipe to a bare wall with hooks or something

    Side note: That hand soap is nearly done

    That's a great one, Lynn!

    There are some old threads you might be interested in - the first is general life, the second food related, I guess they've been neglected, so good that you began a new one!

    You could always try something like this with the PVC pipe. If you're in the hardware store anyways, buy some of those hose clamps. I love mason jars.

    @padyof
    I like that idea since I tend to knock over any items which sit on the counter top or they just get in the way

    Oh, I love mason jars, too; wish I had unlimited counter space to use them as displays for spices, nuts, etc...I even love them when they're painted. Not the antique ones, however..
    Do you collect them?

    Natalka, thanks! I'm not sure I've ever seen those threads; if I've contributed posts in them, I've completely forgotten about them.

    My mother usually picks them up for me at 2nd hand shops. I've been using them more and more to store spices or mixes. And as drinking glasses. I have a large one (about 8 cups) that I use for cold brew coffee. Haven't tried the DIY yet.

    Great idea - I hate putting hot hair drier in the drawer, too. I don't understand the term "hacks" though. Just a small-town country girl, I guess. Yuck, Yuck!

    Hack: a clever solution to an unusual problem (courtesy of Urbandictionary) ... I knew how to use the word, just had to look up the real definition. Trust YOU, my .friend, to send me to a dictionary...once a Principal, always a Principal...lol!

    Ahahahaha...the same can be said about Farcebook too. Just posting cats/dogs random pics over and over seeking likes, and reading other people's made up stories. I am with you all the way
