If Ancaster Senior were to close, the grades 7-8 would be expected to bus to Dalewood in Ainslie Wood (closest one I can think of)? Not sure which other schools have 7-8 in their grade lineup.

The board has Tiffany Hills school site underway (see those dirt piles across the road from the Hamilton District Christian High School?) so will it be open BEFORE any elementary schools get closed. Fessenden & Ancaster Senior are neighbours to St. Joachim school. Ancaster Meadows is crowded so expect some of their pupils to get a chance to move to Tiffany Hills.

I remember the naming contest held about a year ago for the school. Had hoped for an inspired name, not the most obvious one related to the survey and known land history.

I notice mention of an addition to be built on Ancaster Senior School to make it a JK-8 school. Some years ago, the suggestion that Ancaster Senior be rebuilt as a JK-8 school came up in French Immersion program public meetings as space is tight at Fessenden.
