Call-back from my mammogram on Friday....eeek?

Hi, just checking back to see the outcome....sorry to hear that you are still waiting, the wait is the very worst.
I have a great doctor who I can contact via email so the second she got the results she emailed me. It was the next day. Same with the biopsy. I love my doctor!
Hope you hear the good news first thing Monday morning. Then you can relax.

Aren't you the sweetest thing for keeping tabs on me?! Oh, it's been a lovely weekend, not jumping at every phone call.. You're so luck to have had a doc that would do that for you. We're blessed with probably the best doc in town...we really lucked out when ours retired to do sports medicine exclusively...I know that whenever I'm sent for any tests they make dang sure everything is done right or they'll hear from him...he's gentle as can be with me, sits back and lets us ask any questions or just generally chat with him; I tease him now and then and he turns to my hubby and says things like..."I'm so sorry for you...", LOL....I know that whatever I have to face (it better be nothing, though!), that I'm in very good hands with him and anyone he recommends to take care of me.

I'm trying to stay positive but oh, my, I'm so tired all the time; I think I could sleep 24 hrs a day! That could, of course, be my fibro, so there you go...anything could be caused by anything!

Thank heavens you "dropped off" that graph when you did; it's the one time we want to be drop-outs!
I hope everything continues to be well with you.

I also have to thank you for that site. There's a section in there: "Not diagnosed but worried" and I've been stalking it since I found it. It's so unfortunate that it even has to exist, but there's a tremendous amount of information in there!

Thank you, Mia....as the LONG days pass, I'm getting more reassured that whatever "area of concern" they thought they found, turned out to be nothing that needs their urgent attention.
Fingers crossed that I'm fine, but I really need to know that.
I'm calling our GP tomorrow to get the results; this waiting is turning my hair white!!

Thank you, Itchy54, yes, oh my goodness I just couldn't sit still any longer waiting to hear the news, knowing that I'd only be called if it was bad news, but then I wanted to know it WAS good news!
The only thing now, is that I have to go back for a mammogram in one year instead of every two years...our Doc said 'they' saw 'something', but...it was nothing......I'm going with the "nothing" part!

Thank you so much again for returning to guide me though that horrible process; I hope no one else on here ever has to go through that.

@Lynn49 I'm just seeing this now. I'm very thankful that everything turned out A-OK for you, but that damn waiting! They shouldn't be allowed more than 48 hrs! After reading how painful it is though I really am uneasy about getting my first one on Tuesday. Any advice to make it "bearable"?
