Oh! Ooh!! I've already picked up new decorations for Christmas, stuff to do a few crafts (no popsicle sticks in site! hahaha!), Michaels looks like Christmas dumped everything it had into it, and they're playing Christmas music! Hubby also found the 2 Sirius XM stations and saved them for me and when I'm in the van we listen to Christmas music! I'm kind-of sure he enjoys it....he always knew I was a Christmasholic!
This year I can move around more, buy more stuff (yes, I love shopping at this time of year!), plan my baking (and hopefully start it soon!), the pre-Christmas dinner with our DD and her family here...this year I'm hoping for brunch on the 24th...or lunch...I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
Oh. Gifts? We've already picked up our Grandson's new Skylanders Supercharger starter pack...he and his parents play Skylanders with him and he absolutely loves, loves it! This will be a new set. One gift down for him, one to go...we're only allowed 2.
This year our DD set a limit on gifts for each other, at $100....yikes??!!! I said that I hoped it started "now", since I've already purchased gifts for her!! Yes, Mom.....it starts now.... SHe said it's all about being together, all about kids.... But wow....I really don't like limits....

Won't even think about anything until there is lots of snow on the ground.
Don't start until mid-December anyway, since our season runs through to the end of the Ukrainian Christmas season, which finishes on the Julian calendar January 19.

I usually don't get rolling until after Remembrance day.
Starting next week I have a date with a girlfriend to teach her to crochet infinity scarves so that she can make them for Christmas gifts, and another date with my brothers girlfriend to do a bunch of Christmas baking. So Christmas will be in full swing soon!
I've picked up a few Christmas gifts already, and just have a few more to get.

I am very ready and excited about Christmas. Usually takes me about 2-3 days to decorate the house that is how much I love the season. Started on Christmas shopping already especially when I see sales and clearances then put it in a black big bin that I have so when it's time to wrap everything is there. This is the most exciting time of the year

Similar to Natalka except for decorating our home, I leave most of the gift buying till later, ( thinking maybe early-mid Dec ) well except for some GC's, they were easy to grab early. We're ready, no young kids now to worry over hiding " Santa's " presents from or them peeking in closets for the packages....
