I hope people are not getting sucked into this deal because that is their regular price $55.00. I mean I know it's nice getting all the other perks but it is not a sale! I've been paying $55.00 for a Gold membership for over 10 years now...it's not a deal.

Actually, I don't think any one said the membership was on 'sale'.

And what's getting "sucked in" to? You're getting a heap of incentives to join that you wont find by just going in to the membership counter and signing up... incentives that add up to nearly what the cost of the membership is worth. ($10 gc, ~$15 caesar salad, $8 chicken, $15 in coupons).

...plus a membership that is fully refundable within the first year if you're not satisfied (and you're not on the hook for the free gifts).

Where's the "getting sucked in" part come in?

Actually you've only been paying $55 for 4 years now. That's when the membership fees went up in 2011 -- before that it was $50.
