McDonalds : Free SMALL Coffee is back - November 20 - November 26

I now have 14 stickers in 2 days from free cups of tea

DH and I each had one yesterday along with stickers on our cups.

Anyone see this in their city or town: The downtown location in Victoria BC doesn't do this promo to avoid having to give free coffee to the street folk??

I haven't noticed that myself, but wanted to say that I find that quite.. sad, and a bit sickening, even. Yuck!

It's one of those things that is "optional" to a franchise. It's not like say using a different cup, or sandwich wrapper ...both of which comes as standard in the legal franchise requirements.

The "participating locations" would cover a store opting out of the promotion. I'm sure it could be a consideration in other urban areas where stores want to ensure there is a balance between paying and non-paying customers without creating a scenario where some coffee patrons seek other patrons' stickers for the next free drink card.
