I'v searched through different malls, checking out The Bay, Browns, Town Shoes, Sears.. there's just nothing that I like..and most of these boots are either knee length or ankle length, and for the winter I need something just slightly above ankle length so that I won't get any snow in my shoes.. something with real leather and just plain and simple, low heel. no crazy details.

Any other store suggestions I can check out in Hamilton?

I'm going to check out Call it Spring I doubt I'll find something..

Does anyone know of any stores that carry leather boots?

    -Thank you!

Naturalizer has a boot sale on. http://www.naturalizer.ca/Shopping/R...ode%3aen-US%29

Yes, it seems pricey but they tend to carry larger sizes as well. Recommend you don't get wedge heels on your boots-go more for a separate and wide heel for balance. You do want a decent grippy sole, not fine line dress shoe type traction unless slipping on ice is ok.

I'm going to also suggest you call Miller Shoes clearance store on Upper James (just north of the Linc Expwy)-easy to take 44-Rymal to Upper James then catch the 20-A-Line or 27 Upper James bus to the stop near the plaza. The back of the clearance store has more of dress boot selection but there could be hiker or shorter boots. Just limited sizes-you might score if your foot size is 10 or under. I've have found a larger size shoe pair there once but I'm hard to fit/need walkable footwear. Hmm, the clearance store number is not on the website.

Most stores don't carry full leather boots>even the two shops I posted might have thermoplastic heels on the boots they carry but they are likely to have leather boots.

This is what the Hudson Bay's website is showing for Cold Weather Boots:

Most of the footwear in the Sears Wishbook won't be stocked in stores. If you don't know how a brand will fit you, you have to see what's stocked in store and try. But you are better off to go to a shoe store or larger dept. store.

Sail store in Burlington only seems to carry hiking boots. http://www.sail.ca/en/footwear/women...s?p=2&limit=12

Mountain Plaza Mall -the existing wing of the old plaza has a shoe store past the Tim Horton's. I don't mean the Payless one facing Upper James by the bus stop-you'd almost have to walk to the other end where there is one little wing on the left but the store is on the right corner. http://www.yellowpages.ca/search/si/...+Plaza+Mall+ON

Did you check out Reitmans for boots? There's a sale on now. http://www.reitmans.com/en/accessories_footwear
