Tried posting a link and an image from elsewhere that shows the flyer image confirming the above (28th, 50K for $100, 95K for $200) but can't.
Anyway, that must mean there's a flyer out there somewhere. On the hunt.

Anne's right, but not the 10x, or 15x kind of offers either. For example, 1000 pts when you buy shampoo will work. 10x on any shampoo will not work. (from my experiences anyway)

Since I don't have major points to redeem, perhaps I should show up at the local store with a hot chocolate beverage in hand and watch the seasoned Optimum points members work their redemption shops. Might learn something!

Yes, I did a redemption last week and when my card scanned I had valid offers and then when I said to redeem points it removed the offer.

I am disappointed that I only ended up reaching the 50,000 mark there this year. I want to get a new gaming console and they are having a really good Xbox One deal for this upcoming sale but unless I sell off my other rewards I have elsewhere ($130+ Amazon.ca gift cards, $110+ EB Games credit, $60+ in NCIX rewards) I don't think I will be getting anything in this sale. :S
