Thanks for the list, @ShwaGirl! What a hoot under the West listings-Fortino's Mall Road is getting beer. Right across the street from it is a strip plaza with a small LCBO store selling beer too.
And Starsky Fine Foods probably just made some shoppers happy that they can buy there instead of down the road at Eastgate Square's big box Beer Store.

@ShwaGirl, you were correct the sales would happen before Christmas. I recall the intial report saying Ed Clark's suggestions would be implemented after Christmas.

food basics on rymal in hamilton has a good selection of beer, saw the section about 3 weeks ago.

Longo's was mentioned just before last weekend as taking time to train staff properly so as not to rush the beer sales.

Re: wine shops-I've noticed that the ones inside grocery stores have different hours than their host stores. Usually 10am openings, with samplings beginning at 11am. Closing time is often at 9pm or one hour before the grocery store closes.
