Please vote for me: Selecting the link in the title


Have you ever had a period in time where life hits you hard, whether or not you are ready for it? Most of us are raised to follow a particular path, go to school- get good grades- graduate college- get a job- buy a house-graduate grad school- advance your career etc…. I , like most people fell into this category; however one day a couple of months ago for the first time in a long time I felt as though I was in the right place at the right time and a much needed adventure was knocking on my door. As I sat in a professional project management boot camp course I randomly found myself in a conversation with a man beside me. He had told me about this amazing experience he had applied for and was selected to participate in; an adventure of a lifetime, where you challenge not only your body, but your mind as well. I felt that inner spark ignite with excitement as I thought to myself, this is exactly what I need. A chance to take a moment an dare to do something outside of my comfort zone, dare to step outside of that path of expectations that we lay for ourselves. I was immediately motivated to find out more -- four days in Norway, with 2 participants selected from each country, to dogsled across the arctic tundra. What an experience! I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, Nearly impossible to get the votes I need to participate, but I also knew I was up for the challenge to try.

This is where I need your help; please help me to achieve my goal of stepping outside of my comfort zone and channeling that inner hero that is inside of us all.
