I like the crowds, the music, the deco's - I do like to shop mid week to avoid the massive weekend crowds and to get a decent parking space when I shop.
The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.

Sometimes the crowds get mean during the Christmas shopping season -- ever had a cart to the hip or cart hitting you in the rear?
Nearly finished shopping. Saved some vacation time to do the last minute things midweek, when most are at work and at school

Hopefully, going to get through my list in the USA... weather permitting. I agree that the weekends are unbearable, even now. My brother and I keep joking we need to take a cattle prod to some shoppers. You know the ones.... who talk to friends in the middle of the aisles, or crowd around the foolishly placed sample tables.

All my stocking Stuffers were done long time ago. I guess I'm about 60% finished shopping for everyone. I prefer going during the week around 4:30 the malls and stores are a lot less crowded.

....phhht. Our DD put everyone on a budget this year because Christmas is about Family,.....kids....being together....not presents, and she's right about one thing: no one needs anything. But I LOVE shopping for them!!!!!
Basically I'm done.
Fun's over.
No reason to go out there.
To the malls.
Or stores.
So I guess I'll get to my baking and freezing stuff.....and..not..shop.....

I avoid the malls as much as possible and do almost all of my shopping online. I have three nephews left to buy for, and my brother/his girlfriend.
Since our nieces and nephews live in different cities, I use amazon and ship it directly to them with the $3.00 wrapping charge. I usually spend more than $25 per household, so its free shipping
