Had to laugh Amira. Just caught up reading the posts on this thread.
Did 2 big redemptions in beauty boutique last night....nothing for me, just gifts. Seniors discount.
Shop 1.
Clarisonic Mia 3/Aria reg 230 - 46 = 184
Nice surprize to get the case and extra brush head as bonus gift
Scored a big 140 points on the difference.
2. Spent $60 on Quo (after senior discount), but product bonus points did not show up
3x "All About Brows" sets, 1 x men's manicure set
No Quo product bonus points
Smashbox "Art Love - lipgloss", Eyekit (mascara, liner, under eye primer) = $37 after seniors discount so no extra product points
Subtotal on shop $179. And earned a total of 140 points
Xmas shopping now almost done in one department. I Haven't been getting day only offers to warrant the spend to build points.
Happy with the senior discount though. Worth more than Sat redemption for the reg priced makeup stuff.
Have to really pay attention to building points on beauty in the new year.
Saturday I'll redeem for practical household items. My son is moving out on the 1st (fingers crossed) so I want to fill his cupboards. He has a time limit to move before he's 40. Well worth donating my points, don't want to stall his move lol.
Then I'll be wiped out of points. Better get m-w-f offers again to build. SDM has forgotten about me!
By the way - I am LOVING the Lancôme Beauty Sleep Perfector. It's a correcting gel in oil. Skin feels like a baby's bum in the morning. Retails for $97 but will probably last me 2-3 years. Need only a couple of drops for the whole face.

Anyone know the return policy on cosmetics? Returnable if it's still sealed? I bought a Smashbox Palette for my son's girlfriend and now I've changed my mind.

It depends on every store. You can call them and explain it. I am pretty sure they will take it back if unopened.

Beauty Boutique has 3 Day Black Friday deals still on til Sunday.
I bought two Philosophy items (shampoo/gel/bubble bath) reg $21 currently $11, used ebates 10% off and BB first order code for free shipping. The gift wrapping was also free and came with 3 samples
Yesterday they had the $29 Philosophy cleanser (allure award winning one) on for $12 as Sephora and Hudson Bay had same or similar promo. I had one set aside at SDM yesterday and it scanned instore at $12 as well, however today was back at full price and Beauty Boutique is sold out. Can't win them all but very happy with purchase today.

Thanks for all of the reviews that I received about the Smashbox contour kit. Today, my daughter and I each got a kit using points. The cosmetician demonstrated on my daughter how to apply it. We also splurged on Lancôme Grandiose mascara for each of us and some other make-up for my daughter. Fun shopping trip and all free except for taxes!

Picked up a benefit gift set, their new eyeliner, and a philosophy bath set. They threw in a full sized benefit product when I went back to pay with all my redemption stuff. Overall,my two redemptions went well.

I used my Kat Von eyeliner first time today...very carefully [got it under $20 during VIB sale thanks to nice bro] and no racoon eyes at the end of the day! LOVED it!

Thanks, Lyssia. That's great to know.
Argh Shoppers. Why do you do this to me? I went to do one of my redemptions and there was a .99 bin....full of Stila.
