Because gas prices are going down and because the weather has been 'warmer' than usual, Ontarians may get a reduced gas heating bill.

Enbridge has applied at the Ontario Energy Board for a rate decrease.

If approved, it would equal 5% or about $43 a year on the average bill.

It seems that Union Energy is applying for a decrease for the Windsor to Hamilton corridor too!

I'd like an explanation as to what the fixed delivery charges cover and which part of the charges relates to pays.

Yes, I agree. The whole gas bill is still problematic.
But at least, this winter, it will be easier on people who had a hard time making payments last year.
