Merry Christmas everyone, I was wondering if it is worth going to shoppers today? Did anyone get any good deals?

Everything varies wildly by store. Depends what your store has.

Some gift packs were very good deals. Mostly perfume sets and/or Spa sets. Brand name gift sets.
but out of say 10 , I would say only 3-4 were good deals, rest were so-so. So if you know the prices and brand names, you should get a goid deal. But most are probably cleaned out by now, and won't be re-stocked.

Also watch for ml . Some gift packs only have 20 ml perfume bottles inside, some could be 40 ml.
i got a brand name perfume gift set with 4x - 30 ml perfume bottles inside the box for only $ 12 , original price was $ 30.
beautiful packaging and scent. Sometimes just 1 bottle is 20 bucks or more . Great to give as a gift. Looks very stylish and sleek. You need not even pack it in gift wrapper, just give as is.

I went to a small store today that is never busy, so they still had several varieties of Lindt chocolates, Quality Street chocolates on sale....which I couldn't pass up, of course.

I went yesterday and some of their gift sets were a little pricier than other places, however I did find a good mens Hydro Schick razor set for my dad for $7.99. It really does vary from store to store. My mother went by today and she got a bunch of Lindt boxes that were half off.

Decent deals on most holiday gift sets, if you know the brands, prices etc. Some are quite stylish and sleek. More presentattion, marketing than the product itself. So good to give it as a gift as opposed to self use.
so if you want to pick up gifts to give down the road, some of the packs are definitely worth it.

Didn't even look for gift sets but was looking for chocolates and other items. Small quality street was 1/2 price at $3.99. PC cheese cake bite chocolates were $1.99 down from $9.99. Also kinder chocolates $1.99 down from $7.99.

Aside from chocolate marked down in the main aisle and the mint Chips Ahoy or whatever mint cookie it was, I did not explore shelves for marked down electronics. Last year there were some good finds.

YMMV, today at around 2:00 pm I was chatting with a shoppers employee and he was just putting discounts on some things. The best one was for a tassimo he discounted it from $119.00 to $49.00. I hope someone can get this great deal.

Turtles Chocolates - regular type (not the xmas specialty ones) were 3.99 today at my store. With the $2/off coupon from hot choc box -- $2 / each .... like we need any more chocolate in the house --- but they may last
