Thread: Returning an item bought with optimum points ?

can anyone tell me if i can return something purchased with optimum points and if so would they just put the points back in my acct or possibly just get an exchange?

Well if it's the same item you want I would imagine they can do an exchange. Otherwise I believe you get the amount back on a gift card. Depending on the particular store you may just get the money back. You definitely do not get the points back.

I've had them do a straight exchange(if items were the same price), exchange and given cash for the difference if the item was less, and the return amount on a gift card or given cash. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it(all my returns/exchanges are done at the same store and are always foundation).

I purchased something with points as a Christmas gift (back on November 10th - way past the 30 day limit, as stated on receipt). I ended up returning it yesterday and was given the original value on a SDM gift card.
