I redeemed $120 in pc points today, still have 95K sdm points to redeem this month.

Going forward all pc points will go towards 2017 Christmas and after 95K redemption the same new points will go towards 2017 Christmas.

Looking forward to the new year and new financial goals, etc.
2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Here is my year end check in:
    The little-
Reduce my lunch/coffee purchases. I work in the city half the time and I am often too lazy to pack & carry my lunch in on the train(pathetic). I know that I will never get to zero but even a reduction would be good. My team helped in this regard as they have me a sizable gift card for Starbucks so it will be spring before I spend it all. I only bought lunch twice this year & both were a planned lunch with a friend. So this little thing saved me at least $1800.00
Use kijiji for both buy and sell. I am terrible about just donating things that I could have sold but I find it such a hassle.
It took me a while to start this but I am at close to 600.00 this year from selling crap.
    The big-

Save enough money to buy DH a newer car, we have a chunk saved already but I would like to be able to buy the newest car possible. Bought a 2016 VW wagon in May paid in full at time of purchase.
Max out the TFSA- the amount returns to 5500.00 for 2016 so an easier number to manage. Still a work in progress so this will be on the 2017 plan
    The really big-
Increase our net worth by 20% (easier for us as we are mortgage free), but I want to scale back my work in the next 2 years so we really have to dig in now to do that. Done and the same goal is set for 2017 to do it all over again.

Cleaning up the budget/paying bills before I go on vacation. Had $79.88 surplus from my budgeted amount for utilities so paid that on my Enbridge bill. Will give me a credit going into the new year .
Have $200 going forward for groceries plus $102.33 Gift Card for Foodland (purchased with grocery money for airmiles bonus) So $302.33 going forward. (I also have about $50 in Airmiles (for groceries) and my PC pts but have to decide my plan for them in the new year (Have $544.00 on one card and $13 on my 2nd card)

I have over 200,000 in SDM points. I may do a redemption boxing day/new year if I see lots of markdowns that make it worthwhile (buy gifts for niece etc for birthday/next Christmas) But I will see when the time comes!

Feeling good about going into 2017
Wishing everyone a healthy body and bank account in 2017!
