    TFSA limit has already been reduced this year from $ 10,000 ( 2015 limit ) to $ 5,500 ( new 2016 limit ).

Also I think there is a slight reduction in middle class income taxes. Not sure if its gone through or if it has to be approved in the coming budget in 2-3 months. But with Liberal majority, passing most bills shouldn't be an issue.

The 2016 budget shoul be interesting. After almost 10 yrs a different party is coming out with a budget. Lets see how many election promises are kept and/or broken or if some new things are coming. A huge DEFICIT is probably a given .

July 5 - Tuesday - HST qtrly credit.

it might be slightly different than the previous April one, as July 1 - June 30 the credits are based on 2015 income, and new year for gov. benefits start.

benefits upto June 30, 2015 were based on 2014 Income. From July 1, 2016 they will be based on 2015 income.

Plus they will be slightly different than previous months benefits as new year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 has started as far as gov. Benefits are concerned. Plus now they will calculate it based on 2015 income.
