Hello folks!

DH's blood work and other symptoms were good today so he was to be a go for chemo tomorrow.

But then we received a call from the clinic saying that his oncologist in London had called to request that they NOT continue with the chemo tomorrow. We have an appointment with the oncologist on Thursday, so we'll find out then.

Always a journey.

DH is feeling well. He spoke to his daughter today. We still don't know if there would be a "round5" of chemo so we're not sure if we can travel when we hope to.

Hoping all of you are looking forward to a great long weekend.

Thinking of you tonight, @avoncallingu ...and hoping you made it safely to your London hotel and that your dear Hubby's appointment with his oncologist brings you both good news. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as always, Sis!!

We have a great "suite"- which is good since I had a coke earlier and the caffeine is keeping me awake. DH is trying to sleep as it is an early morning tomorrow.

We watched 2 good movies- one heart-warming about "Eddie-the-Eagle"- the British ski-jumper who won everyone's hearts at the Calgary Olympics. The same Olympics that also had the Jamaican Bob-sled team.

Definite recommendation.

Then- later we watched one which I cannot 're commend to the sensitive - Lynn- Don't even think about it- Eye in the Sky.

Good-- suspenseful- but not happy.

I will let you all know about decisions that will be made tomorrow.

Supportive news. DH will start a new round of chemo today (Friday) and have the second part next Friday then off for a month. This is so we can travel to Denver at the end of June to see our grand-daughter for her 1st birthday and meet up with both of DH'S kids. Tampa-boy will be in Denver too.

Then DH will have a CT scan. The "soft" measures- his general wellbeing, appetite, and "tumour" marker measures are all good right now.

So "chilling" at the chemo suite this morning.

Was able to visit an old friend north of London yesterday and then spoke to another long-time friend last night by phone.

Hoping everyone is heading I to a very relaxing and warm long weekend!

Hello folks!
We had a "sleep-over" at a lovely local hotel called the Retro Suites to celebrate our anniversary. DH was still feeling the effects of his chemo so it was a low-key but nostalgic time.
The weather yesterday was lovely. We took a walk around our field to the pond and then had a supper on our deck with my brother. I even had a "nice cup of tea" to salute Queen Victoria.
