He's HOME! Yay! Personal Care Workers ARE NOT YET set up, as I anticipated but hoped would not happen. He is actually fairly independent but tires very easily. A major team of friends came in and set up our house to assist us, including switching out out toilet for a more appropriate one..... taking off doors that were in the way.....hanging shelving.......hanging pictures......cleaning out the fridge..... vacuuming all through the house.....running errands..... bringing food.....making sure there were pathways to everywhere that a walker could get through. It's been wonderful.
He will start his radiation on Wednesday and we have a big meeting with his chief oncologist on Monday. He is receiving antibiotics programmed for every 12 hours. The Infectious Disease team is "on the case" to make sure they are still happy that the MRSA is exitting!

We are so very thankful for all the care that he has been receiving from professionals, family and friends like you all. When I feel overwhelmed and like I'm facing this alone, all I have to do is log on here to see that our friends extend in so many directions. Thanks beyond words for all your support!

hi avon, thinking of both of you again today. The sun is so beautiful and bright right now, even though the winds are high and it's bitter cold in the shade!! Try to have a more relaxing weekend if possible. ((hugs))
