Another of our good friends has died on Feb 3rd from cancer. Norman would have been sixty this month but he never made it. He struggled with a blood cancer, Myeloma, for over 5 years. His kidneys failed and his body was full of toxins from all the medication. Since Norman had only 1 month to live, the docs stopped all treatments as per his instructions. It didnt matter whether he died from the toxins in his body or from the cancer, he was going anyway. I talked with him on Feb 2 and he seemed quite well and even went out to do some banking. He told me if we didnt hear from him in the next few days, then he would be dead. I called his sister last night and she told me the sad news.
To everyone struggling with cancer, my heart and prayers to out to you and all your family. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

So sorry for your loss. I know there are no words to ease the pain. The bright times between the waves of grief do get longer though. Warm thoughts sent your way.
