Avast is good, but I have noticed that it can insert an email signature; basiclly free advertising. You can turn this feature off by following this guide.

Yeah it does. I don't mind that feature because I want it scanning. Thanks for the tip for it. I have it turned off for inserting notes in spam but let it insert the outgoing protection message because the advertising doesn't bother me and I think people want to know that emails are scanned and safe.
