The Canadian Mens Relay Team should be given the Bronze as the replay shows the Japan runner touched over the line 2 times while running!! Please don't let Canada get screwed out of this 3rd place finish!!

I am soooo confused! The U.S. was DQ'd giving Canada the Bronze BUT they still have not addressed the Japan runner who clearly stepped over the line while running?? Their DQ could now mean Canada would get SILVER!!!!

o.k thanks redhdlois. ^^ I was reading some tweets on line and someone said that what Japan did was not an infraction they can be DQ'd for. Something about crossing the line on a straight a way as opposed to doing it on a curve and also about if it gives your team an unfair advantage?? So I am still bewildered about the rules......

no I mean I was mixed up about why Japan is not being DQ'd? I mean we all saw the footage of him stepping down 2 times while running and no one is even mentioning it now?

Athletics Canada ✔ @ath leticsCanada For everyone asking, Japan stepping on the line in the straightaway is not a disqualification unless they impede a competitor.
