My new toy

One of our old girls was ready to give up so we decided to finally trade it in on a new car. We've been driving both cars for 14 years so it was time. Sad to see the old one go but so happy for the new one. The one that we kept has some minor body rust issues but the guts are still in good shape. I've wanted a truck for a long time now. Trunk space was just not cutting it anymore for hauling stuff to ball tournaments in the summer. No space issues now!

This is a picture of a 2015 but ours is a 2016... pretty well the same though. It has everything- OnStar, navigation, Bose stereo, SiriusXM radio - which is free for 3 months and not going to renew because expensive, 4x4, stuff I don't even know... a lot of learning to do - and re-learning how to drive. This is a tad longer than the little sedan that I've been driving. The above picture isn't mine but it's a very reasonable facsimile, we'll call it its twin brother.

very nice congratulations! it's looking good!!! 14 years is pretty good lifetime for a car. I have a 2010, so maybe in a couple of years I treat myself too.

Nice wheels. it is huge change moving up 14 years but oh so fun. Ours was a 10 year change.
I have Sirius and love it. eventually they will offer you some super cheap rate to get you to come back, I paid 100.00 for the year. I love not having to hunt for a station when driving all over for tournaments. I am sure I will not get this rate again so will let it go because there is no way I would pay the normal going rate.

I know how you feel about letting an old vehicle go as you spend so much time in them they are like an old friend. bet if you had to go back after the new truck it would be hard! enjoy that new truck!!
