I hear you. I tried the Vanilla Chai frappe a couple of years ago and believe it or not I have been waiting since they stopped last fall for it to come back. I'm usually pretty good in resisting the urge for junk drinks, but not this one. Here goes my tummy, it's has been growing all winter and I can't seem to shed it. Age has not been nice to me, growing my tummy like I expecting with no delivery date LOL.

I had the Small Vanilla Chai Iced Frappe at McDonalds today for $ 2, surprisingly the small size was larger than I thought. The taste was good too, wasn't too sweet and sugary. Next time I will try the coffee one.

Is McDonalds small size Frappe bigger than Tim's small size Iced Capp ?

Don't forget the $ 1.00 MMMaple Chill from Tim Hortons , only for 3 days for the May long weekend - May 21-May 23 , Sat, Sun and Monday. looks good in pics.

I prefer McDonald's vanilla ice coffee over Starbucks iced coffee. Well, I guess it depends on the person making it, but the times I have had Starbucks, it wasn't good. During the dollar drink promo I mostly get the ice coffees. I notice every year when the dollar drinks are on, we spend a lot money on drinks. We would get it almost everyday either in the morning or afternoon when it's hot. Sometimes both and it is for at least 4 people. Oh, it's a dollar, but it adds up. Anyone else spending too much on dollar drinks?

I'm noticing too that I'm in McDonald's alot when their ice coffee is on for $1!

Just discovered today that you can order the ice coffee not only with no sugar but also with LIGHT ICE, which means a lot more coffee flavour. You still will get enough ice, but more coffee! I love it, it's my new fave

Had the Small Iced Coffee Frappe today for $ 2. It was pretty good, I actually liked it more than the Vanilla Chai Frappe.

The Vanilla Chai was a bit too sweet and bland for me, the coffee one was perfect, not too sweet plus the coffee slightly bitter kick to it.

The coffee frappe is almost like a Tim's Iced Capp, but the McDonalds one seems to be darker in colour, the Tim's one seems light brown, so maybe Tim's uses more milk or a lighter roast, McD's seems to use a darker roast for their Coffee Frappe, so is dark brown.

will probably try their Smoothies next week. Not all of them, but maybe just the Mango one.

So far had the Vanilla Chai Frappe, Coffee Frappe and Mango Pineapple Smoothie , all of them were good.

I don't like their Lemonade, Iced Coffee and Soft drinks, so won't have them.

but will try their remaining 3 smoothies which I haven't had yet, already tried 1 smoothie and the 2 Frappes.

Also tried the Tim's Maple Chill for $ 1.

Normally I don't drink these drinks as they are too sweet and a bit expensive. But for the promos, just once I will try them all as a treat and something different.

Had the small Blue Berry Pomegranate smoothie today, didn't like it much.

Small Vanilla Frappe - Liked it - $ 2
Small Coffee Frappe - Liked it - $ 2

Medium Iced Coffee - Was OK - $ 1

Mango Pineapple Smoothie - Liked it - $ 2
Freestone Peach Smoothie - Liked it - $ 2
Blue Berry Pomegranate Smoothie - Didn't like it - $ 2
Strawberry Banana Smoothie - Was OK - $ 2 - Taste was more banana and less strawberry.

Just wanted to try them out once before the promo ends. Won't have them at regular price.

Don't like their $ 1 Lemonade so won't try it.
