Mom brag

I know mothers day was yesterday but I am proud to say my mom is 85 and doing well

She still lives alone with no help except for a nice lady that was recommended to her by other people in the same building that she pays to do cleaning and will pick up heavier grocery items for her on her way i

She is coming up north with us this year for a week with her sister (my aunt is the young one at 82)

If I could get to that age with my wife and see all of my kids doing well in life and still enjoying my own life I would consider myself a very lucky person. (She has 5 kids and 8 grand kids)

I'm with you, will consider myself lucky to be in such a great shape at that age. I know lots of people scrambling to take care of loved ones who no longer can care for themselves. It is a blessing to have your mom doing so well.
