Need help re vib

I am new to shoppers optimum and vib and still trying to figure it out. For vib coupons, can these be used any number of times as long as we print and do separate transactions. I got 2 pampers wipes and used vib coupon 2000 pts in 2 separate transactions but next time when I tried to use coupon ,the screen said it's no longer valid and cashier said that it's not working because it has to be loaded on card. I don't understand this. Any help from SDM experts would be appreciated. TIA

No, it does not have to loaded to your card. You do have to do separate transactions, but if it did not work that third time, I would think it has something to do with the order involved in the transaction. Always scan your card first. In the past the VIB coupon would kick out if the card wasn't scanned first.

i would try again the next day,, that used to work,, i find the vib coupons are not scanning lately, i had a cahier manually key the barcode in and it worked, also make sure that u are still a member of vib, i signed up over 7 years ago , so i just recently udated a new baby on its way just to be sure.

I went to a new cashier with the new computer system last week. What I have learned is the VIB and other SDM coupons have to be scanned after the optimum card but before the cashier hits total.

yeah, as I said, that is likely the issue is the order.

No, mine went through. But I register later on.

^^they allow aunts/uncles, grandparents, godparents etc. not just parents to sign up for the program too in case your mom etc. wants to buy shower gifts etc. for baby too.
